About Me

Hi. I’m Nathanael,
I own and run onetonnegraphic, a small design firm with a focus on doing stuff which makes my clients and me smile. I’m based in Hobart, Tasmania, but do work with good people everywhere. I’m split about 50/50 between print and web design. I’m a professional member of the Australian Graphic Design Association and I’m also lucky enough to help out on AGDA Tasmania’s state council.
What I do is “print, web & fun”. Which is to say, I focus on print and web work, but I’m always trying to find ways to make the experience fun for my clients as well as me. Oh I can do the straight down the line stuff too, everyone’s got to eat right? But! I always like to look for opportunities to deliver something special for my clients.
Years of advertising experience from national retail level mixed with small to medium enterprise work has given me an understanding of how to make design work for your business. I also have extensive experience doing work for local government.
I’m also making an excellent application for iOS & Mac OS X to make meetings less painful which is titled Meetron.
My brain is wired funny and it means I tend to do a lot of stuff. I always wanted to be a renaissance man for as long as I’ve known what that is. I’m still crap at guitar (just bought a banjo, so you can’t fault me for enthusiasm) but that core idea underlies my passion for ideas and trying out new things.
I also write a music blog called onetonnemusic, a self help blog called the Miserable Bastards’ Self Help Guide, and I also review funny/horrible application reviews on my blog called iTunes Store Review Reviews.
Finally, you may find me on all the usual social networks, including (but not limited to) Twitter, Flickr, Linked-in and Google+.
